The demon hairball is gone...we hope
May. 1st, 2013 07:19 pmAfter being perfectly fine yesterday, I awake early to the sound of Maggie wretching. It looks like she has passed the hairball, so YAY!
She also threw up some partially-digested kibble and scared Mummy. But that may have been due to overeating. Maybe i didn't need to bring her that food yesterday. I just wanted her to eat.
But she's been fine since 8:00 AM *fingers crossed* and I gave her some more of that Laxawhatchacallit for good measure.
That had better be the last we see of you, evil hairball!

Pip is hearing the call of the wild since the weather's gotten nicer. But due to the construction in the yard I'm not sure it's safe to take him out yet. I'll have to check with the landlord, and possibly cajole him into giving the yard a good once over. He really likes the cats.

I made a split pea pilaf (pea-laf) and it turned out mushier than expected. It's still good, so I'll eat it anyway.
