If I had blinked, I might have missed it

Maggie likes to sleep by my pillow at night and she's usually there when I wake up. I usually pet her a bit before I get out of bed.

This morning Pip joined our little quality time session. Often when he does he ends up bugging Maggie and she leaves but today he was just being a good boy and Maggie was cool.

Out of nowhere, she started licking him!

It was only for a few seconds, but she has never licked Pip before. I was so happy! Now maybe in ten years she'll come to love him as I do.

Also, my back is killing me for no reason. I'll be going to bed early tonight. Now, where did I put those painkillers?
