Lesly's Labour Day Weekend Wrap-Up
Sep. 6th, 2011 11:07 amI decided to go with my little emerald green "velvet" dress for the wedding of my wee cousin Derek. Everyone said I looked stunning and that Mel and I did a great job on the reading.
It was a lovely ceremony, officiated by someone from the Humanist Association. Back when I thought I would eventually marry Rob, I planned on having a Humanist wedding. So I was glad they decided to to that route.
Unlike when Derek's sister got married, I got through the whole reception and didn't fall or pass out even once. Horay for being finished with the bloody anti-depressant withdrawl! And hooray for no CFS flare ups. I was worried as I had a bad one Thursday and Friday.
**
Maggie turned 11 yesterday. I gave ber some extra treats and a big pinch of catnip and spent some quality mummy and kitten time with her. And I do still see her as that tiny, sassy kitten.
*sniff*

Wow, fall just stood up and announced its presence in a loud, booming voice yesterday. Going from shorts and a tank top to jeans and a hoodie over the space of one day messes with my head. But I'm actually glad to see an end to the sticky heat and having to slather on the sunscreen every time I go out.
Hopefully I'll get an energy burst like I had about this time last year. Hopefully it won't mysteriously vanish mid-Noveber though.
So, how's by you?
